BEES

WHAT & WHY?

There are approximately 1650 native bee species in Australia and it is estimated that one third of the food that we consume, relies on pollination by the common bee.

The average bee will make only 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime.

HOW TO HELP BEES
  • Don't kill them

  • Plant bee attracting flowers

  • Only source local honey

  • Help protect their habitat

  • Educate children about the importance of bees

TREATMENT

In recent times, we have become very conscious of the need to conserve our bee populations. Bees are one of the most important insect species  to man because they pollinate many of our food crops.

Please contact us for the details of a local apiarist whom we recommend to remove the hives for you as a preferred option to spraying these important insects.
